Growing up in Stowe, Vermont was a joy. I experienced the benefits of physical training early on as an active member of the softball, field hockey, and basketball teams.
I continued playing field hockey and softball in college having been recruited on scholarship. I loved working with my teammates and rocketing through life with a strong and healthy body.
After school, life took me to Mahwah, New Jersey in the position of assistant fitness director and front desk manager at the Quest One.
I returned to Stowe several years later, to become a member of Topnotch Resort and Spa’s team as a spa guest specialist. What an amazing facility and group!
Stowe Gym provided the opportunity for me to discover myself fully within the personal trainer role. I’m grateful to have had some amazing long-term clients there.
After I married and moved to California, I was proud to have earned the title of Elite Personal Trainer at the well-respected studio owned by Jackie Ballinger; Physically Focused.
There I met and stayed with my core group of clients for over ten years until my move to Washington state to raise my delightful daughter, Sky.
Yoga was always part of the journey as a personal practice and sprinkled into my training sessions, but as I matured the benefits of yoga and mindful practice have become the main focus, with functional fitness and weight training added in to round out certain programs. I took my studies further and earned my yoga instructor credentials.
Yoga has a complete package - strength, movement, balance, and mindfulness - to create a holistic health and well-being approach that is accessible to everyone.
Today, I’m dedicated to enriching people’s lives and strive to support all kinds in their efforts to lead happy, healthy, active lives!
